私が物心ついてから、一番最初に好きになった画家が、ゴッホでした。ゴッホのここが好き、と上手く言えないくらい幼い頃でしたが、ぱっと見てすぐにゴッホだ、と分かるクリアーな感じが良かったのだと思います。でも、有名な画家さんは皆そんな独自性を持っているのですよね。じゃあ、そんな中で、なぜ私はゴッホに魅かれたのか。ゴッホの絵を見るたびにこれからも考え続けていくことでしょう。素晴らしい展覧会でした！
Vincent van Gogh was the first artist I ever became a "fan" after I became old enough to talk. I was too young then to say why I liked van Gogh, but perhaps I could easily recognize his paintings by his brushwork. Well, but all the famous artists have their distinctiveness...so why did I like Gogh so much? I think and will think why I was attracted to his work every time I see his artwork. The van Gogh's exhibit was great!
