私の写真ではなかなかダイナミックさが伝えられませんが、画廊を訪れた帰り道、涼風の向こうに見える夕焼けに足を止めたひととき。

It's really hard to convey the dramatic scenery through my photograph, but I stopped for a while to see the sunset beyond the cool evening air on the way back from art galleries.

昨日紹介した、来週から開催の「Hybrid」アート展参加のため、アイルランドから５名のアーチストさんがデンバーにいらしていますが、そのうちの一人、イアン・ゴードンさんがうちに滞在しています。今日は、時間があったので、私と夫のお気に入りの場所にご案内しました。数年前に初絵本を作ったのですが、その舞台にした場所です♪この（絵本の中の）森にはクマや動物達が住んでいるのですけど、実際の場所では、クマは隠れていて出てきません。 イアンさんのウェブ http://www.ashlemon.com/

Five artists are visiting Denver from Ireland for the art exhibit "Hybrid" starting next week, and one of the artists, Ian Gordon, is staying at our house.  This morning, we had some time, so my husband and I showed him around our favorite places in mountains, and had a nice walk up there.  I made my first picture book a few years ago, and some of the scenes are modeled after those of our favorite places.  * I put the photos (upper) of my picture book pages, and the photos of actual places (below) with Ian!  　　☆ Ian's website: http://www.ashlemon.com/

Initiated by Rian Kerrane, a native of Ireland, an art exhibit Hybrid will be held at RedLine (non-profit art center) in Denver, starting August 11. Seven artists from Ireland and seven artists in the States will show their art works.  The same exhibit will be held in Ireland after the Denver exhibit! My husband Homare is one of the participating artist.
There was a fundraising dinner last night at RedLine.  The exhibit will be very interesting!!  I hope many people will come to see the exhibit. (The photo was taken in front of RedLine last evening.)

アイルランド出身のリアン・ケラン企画によるアイルランド在住のアーチスト７名及びアメリカ在住のアーチスト７名による合同アート展”Hybrid”が、８月１１日（土）より、デンバーのRedLine（非営利アートセンター）にて開催されます。このアート展はデンバーで開催の後、アイルランドでも開催されます。おもしろいアート展になりそうです。たくさんの方々に見ていただきたいと思います！☆！（写真は、RedLineの前で昨夜撮影。）
